As a response to Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement, Josephine van Zanten wrote an opinion piece for Le Monde diplomatique. In the article, she explores the possible negative effects of Trump’s decision on the US’ national security. She argues that by not recognizing climate change and its consequences, Trump is breaking his promise of putting America first.
